Private events

Il Museo Villa dei Cedri offers a variety of possibilities for your personal events, like meetings, conferences, team-building event or guided tours of its premises, in its historic parc or in the contemporary Tensy-dome.

You may offer your guests a private guided and thematic tour of the temporary exhibition or of the history of the Villa and its park to discover the secrets of this cultural asset of the City of Bellinzona. Drinks will also be served.

We will be happy to send you further information and assist you in organizing your event.


Conferences	A structure designed by the architect Filippo Broggini in 2016 stands in the Villa dei Cedri Park, next to the Italian garden. Commissioned and financed by the Friends of the Villa dei Cedri Foundation, the primary function of this new architectonic shape is to host attendees, but it is also an object that highlights the green spaces of the park.

Guided tours, exhibitions

We will be delighted to organize a personal guided tour; this will give you an opportunity to discover the current exhibition, in a visit during which a selection of works will be presented. You will be immersed in the fascinating world of the theme proposed and developed in the temporary exhibition with stories and professional explanations, interesting features of the paintings, drawings and/or sculptures; this will give you an overview of the art works on display here and a deeper introduction to the different artists.

Historical interest and park

A guided tour explaining the history of the Villa dei Cedri, discovering its geographical setting, the rural landscape of Ravecchia, the construction of the country house, the extension to include the villa as we know it today and the sumptuous park as a not to be missed addition to the impressive edifice. A journey between past and present, through the many changes made over the years with stories and anecdotes, between architecture and nature, a journey of discovery introducing a Villa and its Park.
