General Conditions of Online Sale (effective from 11.2024)
The following General Terms and Conditions of On-line Sale, along with the Conditions of Delivery and Payment of Goods stated on the site, form an integral part of the contract of sale concluded between the user of the Website (hereinafter the Customer) and Museo Villa dei Cedri (hereinafter VDC).
VDC invites you to read the General Terms and Conditions of Online Sale carefully. Any registered customer ordering from the Site www.museovilladeicedri.ch accepts the General Terms and Conditions of On-line Sale.
1. Conditions for placing an order
The customer placing an order for private use must be 18 years of age or older, solvent or legally authorised by parental or guardian authority.
The Customer placing an order for a company, institution or corporation must be 18 years of age or older, solvent and legally authorised by the person in charge of the company, institution or corporation.
VDC accepts no liability in the event that incapacitated or unauthorised persons act in violation of this rule.
The Customer registers with his/her own valid and truthful data, entering his/her name, surname, address and telephone number. He/she also undertakes to change his/her personal data whenever they are changed or insufficient.
2. Methods of payment
The products presented on the site may differ in nature, price and assortment from those available for sale in the Museum Shop at Piazza San Biagio 9, 6500 Bellinzona.
Prices are expressed in Swiss francs.
Shipping costs are not included (see shipping methods and costs).
The Customer may pay the amounts due
a) online via Postfinance, TWINT, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, American Express, DinersClub and Apple Pay
3. Shipping and costs
VDC ships the order after payment has been made and the required items have been received.
The method of shipping is by Post, by priority mail.
The shipping cost varies in accordance with the weight and value of the goods purchased.
Online sales are only available in Switzerland.
4. Timing
VDC sends the order by Post. VDC is not responsible for any delays occurring during the transport service. VDC is also not responsible for incomplete or incorrect addresses that preclude the delivery of goods or additional costs of returns.
Orders placed by the registered customer and already available in full will be sent within 5 working days after payment.
Orders entered by the customer and not available in full will only be sent once the order is fully available and payment has been made.
Orders entered by the customer and unavailable in their entirety will be sent only after VDC's procurement from the respective suppliers.
VDC will endeavour to supply what is requested in a reasonably short time, depending on availability from the usual suppliers.
5. Prices
All prices quoted are in Swiss francs.
VDC may, at any time and without prior notice, change the price of the items on sale based on product availability and/or according to increases made by the final manufacturer.
6. Right of Return
The valid right of return is conditional on sending a registered letter within 10 working days from the date of delivery of the goods to the following address:

or by sending an e-mail to museo@villacedri.ch and having received an authorisation from the VDC on-line shipping service.
A copy of the Delivery Receipt sent with the goods must be attached. The goods must in all cases be in perfect condition.
In the event of even partial cancellation, the Customer must indicate all the details for cancellation of the amount.
VDC reserves the right to reduce the value of the refund in th e event of defects found at the time of return and will not refund the shipping costs incurred by the customer, either on the outward or return of the package.
7. Protection of personal data
VDC undertakes not to disclose the customer's personal data and to maintain professional secrecy in any sale-purchase negotiations or enquiries made.
8. Modification of the General Terms and Conditions of On-line Sale
VDC may amend the content of the General Terms and Conditions of On-line Sale and of this document at any time and without notice. Any amendments made will take effect from the date of publication on the Site, as stated in the heading of the General Terms and Conditions.
9. Links to other websites
VDC is not responsible for links to other websites, the content of their pages, products, services or other offers proposed therein.
