This exhibition unfolds as a platform for reflection on the concept of creativity as the mental locus of the artist's freedom and individuality. Starting out from the ambiguous relationship between art and madness, it considers the line that separates social space shared by all and the space of expressiveness and the inner expressions of the individual.
The project, jointly developed by the Museo Civico Villa dei Cedri and MACT/CACT Arte Contemporanea, investigates the role of the artist in our society and existential questions of the 20th and 21st centuries, addressing such themes as freedom, love, sexuality, fear and violence.
